MAY 17, 2023 TEXAS: QUALITY STORMS NEAR PAMPA
First storm of the day starting to crank up near Pampa, Texas.
Beginnings of a supercell as it becomes better organized with a dark, flat base and a mesocyclone forming as noted by the striated look to the tilted updraft.
Storm still morphing and intensifying while other storms just to the north started catching our eye.
Wall cloud now fully developed on a new storm in the area. This ended up being our storm of the day that we followed into the evening.
Beautiful storm twisted up as sunset was upon us. Starting to crank out some lightning!
